The Bridge to Spelling and Reading: Book 2
Purpose:
This fabulous book sets out all the words and word patterns your child needs to learn to spell and read.
The words, and word patterns, are set out in a clear and sequential way, supporting all children in remembering how to spell the words they need for school.
The words are split into: phonics based words and sight words. This book complies with, and covers, the words in the New Zealand (Junior) English Curriculum.
Suitable for:
All young children learning to read and spell: 5 – 8 years old
Children with Dyslexia (all ages) who need to work through the word patterns for spelling and reading

Book 2 covers all the spelling and reading words for Year 2 children – as set out in the New Zealand English Curriculum. Children in Year 2, Year 3 and Year 4 may need to revisit these words.
